Who we are
At Elgin Associates we provide environmental consulting services for projects in terrestrial, coastal, marine and freshwater environments. Our specialist areas of expertise are water quality, marine ecology and contaminated site assessment.
We have internal resource capacity, expertise and experience with logistics and planning in order to provide advanced, novel environmental advice and solutions. We maintain inhouse equipment so that we can respond quickly to project needs, including vehicles, boats, remotely operated video, sampling pumps, landfill gas analysers, water quality meters, and numerous other sampling equipment.
Our consultants work with advanced field taxonomic skills to maximise outputs on surveys and have expertise in science communication and engagement to work with any community groups involved.
Formed in 2007 by our three principal scientists – Dr Luke Finley, Andrew Roberts and Dr Nicholas Yee, Elgin Associates brings together more than 60 years collective knowledge and experience developed from our individual backgrounds in consulting, research and industry.
Our scientists work with you through all stages of your project to provide innovative and effective advice to ensure long-term solutions that benefit the client, community and environment.
